Let's not let Nixon off the hook here
Nixon may have been a criminal and an asshole, but he actually had some positive accomplishments - for example, he vastly improved diplomatic relations with China, established the Environmental Protection Agency, and supported lowering the voting age from 21 to 18.
[Note: contrary to social media standards, acknowledging someone's legit accomplishments does not equal forgiving all their bad shit.]
