I prefer laptops cuz I like things that can move with me and I can put wherever, not be chained to a desk etc. its basically never unplugged but I dont care, i need to be able to move and also wired printing

Ironically, im most productive on my phone but i like to have a bunch of shit running in the background like torrents/soulseek/multiple audio output apps so i need a laptop to handle alm the non serious stuff

Laptop for same reasons as you, but I actually also like the touchpad, because it's right below the keyboard, so less travel distance for the hand and you don't lose your place on the keyboard so much.

Yes, touchpad is bad for certain things, but I mostly use a keyboard-driven workflow anyways, so that remedies a lot of that and makes being closer to the keyboard doubly important...
