I mean what the fuck are we supposed to do about it? All of our checks and balances have failed, the next thing is just committing to massive violence and loss of life. And any who thinks that’s just an easy decision is either a psycho path or an edge lord who thinks they would totally get some guns and start a revolution totally, cause they are totally badass bro
If we don't stop it here in the US, the rest of the developed world will follow. Our plutocrats are actually that rich.
Heck, with the AfD gains in Germany and the LGBT+ raids in Turkey / Türkiye, it looks like the transformation is already happening.

Put another way, people need to stop framing it as an American Problem for American People to fix. It's a big fucking problem for everyone and your systems aren't as protected as you think they are.
I just hope the effects of climate change will soon topple this corrupt system. Many underestimate how far along we really are and with the super El Nino on the horizon we are already looking at millions of deaths globally next year alone.
Or to put it another way: the house of cards is starting to collapse.

The problem is none of those millions of deaths from climate change are going to be the rich people most responsible.
You can’t have a two party system and a functioning government when one parties parties core ethos is that government doesn’t work and a election isn’t valid if they don’t win.
The only way this ends is in violence.
What is sad is that Trump is an open book. We’ve seen all this happen before.
Decades of pendulum swings between lesser and greater evil will do that. But looking around, capitalism is just going down the drain everywhere. So, don't be too hard on yourself.
