Heh, my cat does the same to my parents when they visit.
Not to me though. My cat knows I ain't gonna get up and feed him until I'm awake. He will wait patiently and judge silently. Loud meowing only works on my parents.
Omg SAME. We taught ours to talk (using buttons) and she's such an absolute unhinged menace in the mornings
