I understand that, but the post above highlights that there needs to be discretion to such an invite.

Placing it in a public space increases the risks of bad actors coming into stream and ruining the event for everyone. People have done such things for less.

I would've forwarded the obituary through a private family group or messenger as opposes to a socmed.
