This means rent will increase and house prices will drop in short term? Long term who knows. But yeah fixed tenancies kind of suck and because of high demand especially in places like London, bad landlords can get away with being shitty by exploiting fixed tenancies. Shouldn't really be a problem for those who anyways aren't shitty so hopefully this is a clean up of shitty landlords who don't want to maintain their rental properties properly.
