Is there no coffee machine at your house not at work?
Espresso machines are very uncommon at homes and buisnesses in the US.
If someone is waiting in a Starbucks drive thru for a drip coffee they are insane.
No doubt someone does this, but the majority are getting something a bit more complex. Not necessarily good since it is still Starbucks after all, but still
I make my own coffee at home, but this whole thread about shaming people for going to a coffee shop is crazy to me. Even if they want drip coffee, who cares?
Well drip coffee is easy to make at home, i.e the equipment is cheap. An espresso machine and a grinder cost a lot more money, making getting overpriced Starbucks coffee a much more attractive proposition than with drip.
I mean you can overpay for drip coffee at the union busting corporate shop if you want.
There are certainly better more affordable places with a drive thru, but sure
