As backlash against the Galway Girl hitmaker continues, Classic Hits Radio, which is based in Ireland, announced its decision to remove Ed's music in response to "reaction from our listeners." Dave Kelly, group program director at Bay Broadcasting, which runs the station, said in a statement, "Our decision to remove Ed Sheeran's music from the Classic Hits Radio playlist has been carefully considered.

"It is not intended as a personal judgment on Ed Sheeran, and we acknowledge his own explanation of the circumstances surrounding recent events. As an independent Irish-owned radio station, however, we believe it is important to listen to our audience and to stand alongside Irish artists who have made what is undoubtedly a significant professional decision based on their own convictions.

"Ultimately, our position is a simple one. We believe in peace, humanity and respect, and in the right of people and artists to express and act upon their sincerely held views. In light of the strength of feeling expressed by our listeners and the decisions taken by Irish artists involved in the tour, we believe removing Ed Sheeran's music from our playlist is the appropriate decision for Classic Hits Radio at this time."

And if you don’t believe in a place of eternal fire and torture, that is your prerogative

heh, but on a serious note, that's why I support getting fascist leaders like Trump into a bare, small cell that contains a shitty hard bed, a metal toilet, and a sink. No commissary, just standard prison food. And twenty four hours every single day to rot in their brain, thinking about what they did, knowing that they will never leave that cell for the rest of their lives, and since the afterlife doesn't exist, that means literally the rest of their entire existence is spending 100% of their time locked in that cell, never to leave it ever again. Never to see the sun, the sky again. Never to have the benefit of money again. Served shitty food, rotting with their thoughts.

I'd say that's hell.

Imagine if we got Trump on a cell and only allowed him badly photocopied leftist newsletters instead of Fox, if that would what he was ranting about, or if his brain is already rotted

I only disagree because I want him to only be able to stew in his own brain. So nothing to read.

…but frankly, with the reports of how they had to give him a one-page brief that was mostly pictures anyway, I don't think giving him things to read would do anything. lol
