This is the exact kind of argument people made against ending apartheid in South Africa. Of course things won't go 100% smoothly-- how could they? There has to be accountability. Some of that will be through "truth and reconciliation". Some will be through tribunals. Many Jewish Israelis (especially those with other passports) will leave, rather than live as equals with the Palestinians.
