Political Discussion and Commentary

Hello friends. When I observed the recent developments and young people all over the world through social media channels, I realized that the policies produced by classical political institutions in order to win over young people did not find a sufficient response in us (young people). If I summarize the political problems we have experienced and are experiencing:

• Neo-liberal policies have become dysfunctional, but political institutions continue to keep neo-liberalism in an unquestionable position
• The generation born after 1995 is the first generation in human history to live in worse economic conditions than its predecessors, but a political demand has not yet been created for this absurd situation.
• The youth unemployment and housing problems have become unsustainable in all developed economies, but no developed country is willing to take a social state step that will solve these problems.
• The insistence of the 68 generation (baby boomers) on not transferring the wealth and positions they gained under very easy economic and competitive conditions compared to today to younger generations.
• There is a global crisis of elderly politicians, and younger politicians continuing to play the role of an unqualified "yes man" rather than fulfilling the demands of younger generations.
• The failure to develop a comprehensive policy to solve the mental collapse experienced by young generations who have become screen addicts since 2008 as a result of the Cloud Revolution (you can also call it the smartphone revolution).
• Techno-Oligarchy and the upper classes in general are being taxed less and less, and the oppressive regimes and far-right movements supported by this new capital class are threatening democracies all over the world.
• The classical left (communism-socialism-anarchism) has entered a deep period of collapse worldwide, and world politics is being trapped between the far-right and neo-liberalism.
• The young generation, who are addicted by digital means, made it difficult to get a job, cannot afford a home, whose income is decreasing, and who are constantly expected to pay the bill for the extravagant lives of the older generations, has a large single male population that has reached 60 percent in some developed countries, who do not have sex, do not marry, and do not have a lover.
• A demographic collapse in developed countries, directly related to this single male population, and the unsustainability of retirement systems in the next 30 years.
• The mental dilemma and fracture created by the fact that the young generations, who use the technological tools and opportunities that have become a part of life in the modern world much better than the older generations, are in a sense mentorless and earn much less than the elderly, who are much less qualified than them.
• The failure of the current parties and political institutions, which were established according to political paradigms long before the cloud revolution, who do not understand the mechanics of this new type of living, but use these technological opportunities only for advertising purposes, and whose directors are mostly very old people that unable understand the needs of the young generations and do not include them in the management and policy making process.
• Even discussing neo-liberalism being marking as communism and banning, no other ideas being including into intellectual publications, even the Nobel Prizes being giving out with these ideological motives, neo-liberalism becoming a religion and a cultural hegemony. I think that a new youth movement should be formed that takes a political approach to all these developments and focuses on providing solutions. What do you think? Is a new political movement necessary? Do you think there are other issues that need to be taken into consideration besides these issues? My aim is a kind of collective reasoning.
