Aliens: Peak James Cameron action and suspense, with lots of cool, iconic scifi elements.
Predator: A very different horror movie, originally disguised as a macho action movie. Still worth a rewatch now and again for its action and great jungle setting.
The Mummy: A fun action romp. The horror, comedy, and action all help to balance each other out.
Tremors: My go to example of the ideal B-horror movie. Not much budget or flashy effects, but great writing and escalating tension.

The Mummy was such a great movie. I will look into Tremors. Great list.
