This is actually great news for us non usa nations now. Oddly enough the scam has resulted in a non functioning murder machine, wild.

I guess this phenomenon also explains russia and others, years of chest banging and massive military force gains (on paper) while every corner is cut for profit makes for a paper tiger. I don't even think its something that goes un noticed, I think about 40 years of us navy reports screaming about not having new non capital ships or China finding out a bunch of their rocket fuel had be replaced by water. Difference seems to be less about capital and more on how the nation deals with this corruption, China for example seems to have a line that once crossed puts generals in front of firing squads where in the usa they just join the grift.

It honestly could be great news for the people of the US as well in the long term. If people finally realize that the amount of money they spend on the military is completely out of sync with their military competence, maybe they will stop supporting it and instead invest in things that actually benefit them.
