it's fine. and I can have it hot or cold, and using it as an ingredient in anything else is a cinch.

I don't actually mind an instant coffee. The taste is very consistent while regular coffee can easily get horrendous.

There was a blind taste test where the instant coffee won.

Unfortunately for me, instant coffee gives me a headache.

I guess it also depends on how well it was brewed in the first place. If you start with a really coffee before you evaporate it it's going to be good instant coffee too.
