Useful but no breakthrough... What is the real reason he wants Ukraine? Because he does not want NATO in his backyard?
Has nothing to do with NATO. He wants to reform the USSR. This is the guy who said that the USSR collapse was "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century"
Russia has always just wanted to expand and take territory. Their entire lineage is built on conquest.

You think that is the real reason? So... There is now more NATO at "his" backyard directly because of his war. Why does that neither stop him nor make him attack them too? How does that Russian propaganda nonsense make any sense?
I was just asking the question. Though I think once he done with Ukraine, he's going for the neighbors next. The fools that side with him should start counting their days. I read recently some NATO countries are starting to arm up.
As far as I can tell, Ukraine was the only part of the USSR that was worth a shit.
