You will inevitably forget to take tofu out prior to using it and it won't have time to thaw before dinner time.
I usually don't wait at all before putting frozen stuff into the pan, so not a drawback for me ๐ธ
In that case, frozen tofu makes for some amazing vegan hotpot.
