If someone texted me that they would receive a stern talking to. What if I actually was there, and the noise from the text gave up my hiding spot? How is that text going to help me, exactly? That's right, it won't. You can ask that after the situation has been resolved, unless another has started in the meantime.
If you're trying to hide, take a moment to silence your phone, for fuck's sake.
If you’re NOT trying to hide, still silence your phone.
Yeah, I'm sure someone in that situation would not be stressed at all, and remember to do everything perfectly. Certainly something to rely on when justifying sending an unhelpful text.
Skill issue.
Some people will do everything perfectly and some will not. It's just natural selection.
