Yeah, food needs to be safe for human consumption in the EU.

I'm pretty sure this happens in the EU too. Recently noticed that in Germany with potato chips, which all at the same time increased their volume back to the old value. Going by feeling, I'd say they were reduced ~1.5 years prior. Was a bit strange because it's different manufacturers...
