Didn’t those filters used to have asbestos in them?

The only company that used asbestos filters were Kent. I believe they may have also been the first brand to produce filtered cigarettes, though every company that followed them used (according to Wikipedia) cellulose acetate for their filters and still use that for their filtered cancer sticks to this day
