Agreed. I initially used AUR since native builds tend to work better but after that whole debacle with malware (thankfully I wasn't affected) I've removed all except a select few and just replaced everything I could with flatpaks. Takes a bit of tweaking for some apps but honestly worth it for peace of mind.
