I might hate the Argentinian government and think that their team members acted horribly during the WC, but I’m not going to blame them for speaking out against colonizers stealing land halfway around the world. Hell, I’d go a step further and defend any Argentinian who killed British agents in that territory. Fuck colonialism and kill colonialists, always.

Brits were the first people on Falklands.
Spain tried to take England’s possession.
Argentina tried to annex the Falklands at gun point.
You can have your opinion, but I abide by a belief system that is purely anti-colonial and anti-imperialist. I don’t believe that a nation can morally travel halfway around the world and legitimately claim land that doesn’t fall within its original borders. It’s bad when the UK does it, or the US, or France, Israel, Russia, Spain, etc. I firmly reject the concept of “Nobody’s Land” means that it’s up for the taking.
I didn’t express any opinions, only facts.
And I’m sorry, but the world accepts terra nullus.
I don’t believe you reject it as much as you assumed Britain colonized occupied or claimed land and are refusing to climb down from that mistaken assumption.
The entire concept of Terra Nullus originated from the idea that a land was “uninhabited” if it didn’t have western control. I understand that the Faulkland Islands didn’t have an indigenous population, but I’d argue that of all parties involved, the Argentinians have a better claim since it was their territory that they administered after gaining independence from the Spanish.
Whether it be Guam, Hawaii, Algeria, Gaza, and the West Bank, etc., it is immoral in my opinion for a nation to lay claim to land external to their original borders. By that rationale, the moon now belongs to the US because they got there first.

You’re literally defending a bunch of Spaniards, Italians, and Nazis who militarily invaded sovereign English territory with no justification other than they wanted it.
The English are the natives in this case.
Colonialism requires a displaced native population. This is not the case.
So if the US was to lay claim to the moon, it wouldn’t be colonizing the moon? What would we call it when a nation decides that land far away from their borders now belongs to them? Did Argentina not have people there after they achieved independence from the Spanish? Did the British not move in with a naval force and expel the Argentinians there agains their will only to replace them with British people? It’s no surprise that the UK is such a staunch defender of Israel. They act so much alike!

Reassert British control over the islands. Also, they didn't expel anyone.

So Jose Maria Pinedo wasn’t forced to leave the island after the British Navy moved in a forced them to take down the Argentinian flag and replace it with the British one? Does Wikipedia not work where you are, or are you just reflexively defending imperialism without looking up to ensure what you’re saying is correct before you say it?
Neither Pinedo not the handful of people in the islands were expelled.

Regardless, this topic will never stop being funny. Turns out, there are people out there who sympathize with Spanish nobility turned colonizers, turned South American landowners, like they are any better than the British. I guess the same people support the US in the Spanish-American war.
I guess the United States owns the moon since they got there first and it was uninhabited when they landed and planted their flag first.
Crazy that the tiny island of the UK somehow also has legitimate claim to land on the other side of the globe too and not the mainland nation that the island is closer to and which was then controlled by them when they got independence from the Spanish.
I guess you have missed the last 50 years of diplomacy about outer space claims.
