One thing I loved about living in a city a long time ago was not having to use the car. But for 90% of my life it's been a necessity. I wish it wasn't but that's the way it is. Just planning for transport without car takes same time as going with a car for me. Not to mention the travel time. I don't use the car much, and try to do everything when I do. But it's not possible to live without.
