i spent a 100 days building up my elo up to 600 (which is low), to end up loosing it all in like 3-4 days

What I did was forget about elo and played for fun.

It's frowned upon in the community to play bullet games, but I don't care, it's fun lol. I'd spam hundreds of 3 minutes games on lichess, they say you don't learn anything but I think you just learn at a slower rate.

After actually enjoying chess and getting into the thrill of it, blasting house music and getting into the flow of the game, you'll start to invest more time outside of playing.

I started watching chess brah, agadmator(?), and eric rosen like every night before bed. The last two were actually really helpful, eric rosen always did these unorthodox openings and moves that were super fun to watch.

I also did puzzles whenever I was bored with whatever I was doing at the time. Much slower pace and allows you to think things through without having to focus on openings.

I'd say my openings are the worst attribute I have, but it also seems to work in my favor since a lot of people seem to just memorize openings and playing random crap throws them off at mid-tier elos.

I started playing rapids a while back, actually focusing on my moves and all that, I beat a couple ~2000 elo (on lichess) people, and it felt great but it was also much more stressful to me than spamming bullet games. I think caring about the elo makes your nerves go off, and to me it's just not that enjoyable.

Thank you, I think I'll do the same and focus on bullet games until I build up thr confidence again
