It's really not a competition. And using one to lessen the other is not a good look.
You are lessening the genocide in Palestine by saying that the war in Donbas is essentially the same thing.
I explicitly refused to take part in comparing the two.

portrays them as both "a group of child killers and rapists" flattening the Donbas conflict and the palestinian genocide into an issue about some nebulous "child killers and rapists" and omits any structural, systemic or societal forces at play. It is not just a comparison it's heavily implied that they are "equally bad".
Comparison is definitely always warranted. If Ukraine also kills civilians then shouldn't they be banned too? Also the United States killed civilians shouldn't they be banned? Wait I'm pretty sure every country has had killed children at some point. But since we can never do any comparison we just have to ban every country's national anthem from the Olympics.
A lack of comparison results in an analysis that falls short. Killing more people is objectively worse than killing less people, not to mention specific contexts.
