Imagine being able to go down in history as a beloved children's author, but being remembered for being a hateful bigot instead.
Isn't that kind of par for the course? I.e. L Frank Baum, who wrote the Wizard of Oz was a real piece of shit.
At least we've got LeGuin, though she was closer to a YA author at the youngest.
