I came across one of these out with my camera once. A macro lens. It was moving so fast I couldnt tell what it was. So I set my aperture to a high number and a fast shutter and had to make many attempts before I got one half way clear. And what looked back at me was a bit scary.
I had gotten a picture of the face staring right at me. And it looked like a tiny owl. It was so bizarre I was like. This can't be real. I had not heard of these moths at this time btw.
I took probably another 50 or more and ended up with one pretty good photo.
But it was so creepy to come across a tiny owl flying around and having no idea what was going on.
I'll share mine too because people here can appreciate how difficult it is to get a photo in focus.
Mine is still a little blurry. But the face was good so I'm happy with it.
