Teachers across America are sharing the same disturbing stories about what’s happening inside today’s classrooms. From extreme student behavior and disrespect to teacher burnout, lack of accountability, and frustrated parents, educators say something has fundamentally changed.

Every generation has a complaint, but my kid is a teacher and has been physically assaulted by students, that was not even an entertained possibility in our school days.

But parents are the root problem. There are kids not doing any homework, getting low marks and parents upset at the low mark sending chatgpt tips on how the teacher can help the child's marks improve by these simple steps. LOL.

Parents barging into an active teaching classroom and demanding an interview with teacher immediately.

Parents claiming their child feels lonely when they wander the room during lesson time, so teacher should let all kids wander if they want so their kid doesn't feel excluded.

This type of 0 expectation and 0 accountability is preparing these kids for nothing in life.

Stuff like that happened in my mum’s day when she was a teacher though. Particularly with the entitled parents who just didn’t give a shit and would come into PT nights with a very aggressive “butter wouldn’t melt” attitude about their angel. Maybe technology has made some things more immediate and acute though, like how the kids can’t even get away from their bullies at home anymore.

Yeah, tech and lack of boundaries has moved it from wait till PT night, to bursting into classroom disrupting everyone.
