Kroger had a 1/2 off sale on a brand called Cedar's Organic so I tried some and it looked and tasted just like Sabra. There is another brand that looks the same although they all have different colored lids so now I'm wondering if they are just copying or Sabra is using different branding to get around BDS. Searching around suggests Cedar's is owned by Lebanese immigrants in Massachusetts but I think I'll try to make some myself since this brand is normally $6 for 10oz
Good to know. My partner actually quite liked Sabra and was very disspointed when we found out it was Israeli owned
Probably just capitalist efficiency in action, all made at the same factory, with the same ingredients, but with a different label slapped on it so they can charge 30% mark up for the name brand one.
