Y'all remember how they used to say the Democrats and queer people were going to "normalize child pornography"? Now meta and twitter, themselves responsible for at least half of all magats, are actively creating and distributing CSAM, with no pushback from the Republican government.
In fairness, it seems what is actually going on is that they are not sufficiently monitoring third-party advertising, not creating the material themselves.
I just hate it when we aren't accurate about what's going on. Not controlling your advertising is a much different problem. One that needs resolution, mind, but not nearly the same as Facebook itself creating such content.
Twitter is actively creating and distributing. Meta is actively distributing.
