A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I've started a monster taming game called Anode Heart and it's good stuff so far. There's a lot of depth to the gameplay, somewhat nonlinear with a strong story anyway. It came out about three years ago. Comparing to other indie monster tamers I'd definitely put it above Cassette Beasts, not sure about Monster Sanctuary but it's much less well-known than either and deserves to be.
