I have been going "crazy" that's what I call it.

I didn't know why until the humidity reached above 70% and caused mu ceiling light dripping water. So i got a hygrometer and observed it. So for years i have been in pain not knowing why!

I under 55% i am kinda ok, steady 60% and sometimes going above make me angry, can't sleep

I can't buy a dehumidifier without family help, but i cut ties with them. I have rules that i sat and that prevent me from buying stuff, damn you father.

My sugar daddy also known as my biological daddy, is a bad father. Good man, but a bad father.

I am tired, i really want death when it gets high, but then change my mind when the poison goes away.

Taking shower helps... A LOT! I feel ok for an hour or so.

I live in middle east, I have an ac running 24/7 but it is over sized which cause short cycling.

The ac is part of the apartment, so I can't do.anything but leave and leaving is not an option, thus dehumidifier.

I am in a bowl of soup, apparently. 😒 (East coast USA)

Your apartment AC running short cycles is probably the root cause of the high indoor humidity. It's possible there's also a condensate leak somewhere, which is always fun. Either way, if the landlord won't address it, I can only assume what they really want is a building full of mold, not people. 🫠

A standalone AC that you control is probably going to work better than a dedicated dehumidifier, just due to the ducting that AC takes into account but dehumidifiers typically don't. For direct, immediate help for your ickiness at least, get some air moving. Cheap box fan is fine. It won't change the humidity but it will help evaporate your sweat.

All the neighbors have mold, but I got it only once.

The maintenace came cleaned the coil and then check the temperature of the grill (where the air comes out, I forgot what theg call it) it was 13c and they said it is cooling okay.

And nor refrigerant issues.

I checked the ac tonnage myself it was 4 ton, in a website I entered the cubic meter and chose my region and high leakage and even then the result was 1.5 or 1.8 ton max!

Also they checked the drainage plate and it was okay.

I am not sure what yoi mean by dehumidifier not.helping?

Are you am hvac guy? Can you guide me, I am a bit slow

I have a small fan pointed toward me at night

The cool humid air stings but it feels better than whatever the other shit feels

Is it cool if we video call?

I have a theory when I wash clothes and hang them it gets painful for several days, I have a hypothesis that it is because the clothes are hanged far from the air inlet grills.

Buying an dehumidifier is hard! But hopefully soon one day I will have it, but if you think it won't help please tell me.

Edit: the video call to show you my place, you don't have to show yourself
