So this whole article is a panic/damage control piece by vested windows interests.

The tldr is that yes bots account for a chunk of the overall increase in usage, and therefore market share, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that more and more machines (virtual or physical) are being driven by Linux.

They exist. But it's mostly viruses. Every competent script monkey runs their bots on Linux servers, unless it's someone's else PC.
