for me, it's my family.

my white passing family members have all gone maga or maga-friendly because they "don't get what's the big deal with trump" (their words).

meanwhile the older 1st generation immigrants of my family think that i'm just over reacting to trump because they believe that the united states will always be better than where we came from; so they overlook all the things that are happening and actively try to interfere when i try to make anyone in the family aware.

it's leading to with a really odd situation where the older people are more liberal than the younger people; but everyone is lining themselves up to do what maga wants done without realizing it.
