...no crops? I tend to beeline to getting some sprinklers so I can place crops and save time on watering for income. Whenever you come back chop some trees to clear some space. Make a path to the dilapidated building, you will use it eventually. Also path to the north and south exits. You can use extra wood to make pathways, and theres plenty of other paths for a more decorated look. Usually those and torches or other lighting help me section things to organize. Once the fruit trees are grown I usually put a path directly around it so I dont mix it up and accidentally chop it. I also put paths around my sprinklers to indicate the range and place my crops. Visual borders I can walk over really help me, and you can always dig it up later.
I do have crops, forgot to label them. Only 8 crops right now, since I only have one of those 8tile sprikler and waiting to build a few more of those so that I can start farming easily. I want to unlock iridium sprinklers (dk if I have already) and I also want a lot of iridium for that.
I'll create the paths and visual markers, that's been a constant advice and it makes a lot of sense.
