This is a general view on the topic. I think open-source isn't enough, we need also governance for the software we use, and create small pockets of freedom.

so these people not only on their confo, own the building? so when a pipe breaks, there has to be a vote before they hire a plumber? where does the condo end and the building begin? am i allowed to sell my condo or do i lose freedom and need everyone's permisdion? what happens when one person buys sll the condos and now owns the building?

are you serious with the laptop hosting idea? they are setup for disaster. the security and infrastructure risk here is extraordinarily.

if you thought hoas were bad, just wait till they have ownership stake
