Any suggestions for me? I started with the default farm.

I want to see some order and structure here really. Right now I'm focusing on community center, but god do I hate how unorganized this farm looks.

The sections have been labelled pretty aptly. I've made some good progress on the community center, but I guess it's at the expense of my own farm.

I really just want a good looking and all-rounder kind of farm :sob:

Happy to answer any questions you ask. The image is kinda low-res because I wasn't able to upload a larger one. How do people recommend I divvy the map up for sections and such?

Thanks again!

Some tips in no particular order:

You only need one silo. You can store extra hay in a chest

The real money is in artisan goods. Early game you should invest in some preserves jars. Late game you're gonna want Kegs.

When you unlock the greenhouse you can plant fruit trees around the edges of the planter area.

You move slightly faster on placed floors. Setting up paths around your farm will speed you up and break it into sections for you.

When you get a horse it will need 2 tiles to move vertically but only 1 horizontally.

When green rain hits just go wild with your scythe all day long. You want all the moss you can gather to make into mushroom logs and better bait.

When you chop all those trees save the seeds. You'll want to replant at least a small grove of wild trees to tap for resin, tar, and syrup. Between the trees put the mushroom logs from last tip.

You'll know you reached late game when money stops being the limiting factor on what you do and is replaced by space or access to specific items. At this point you should stop optimizing for profit in favor of variety, density, and ease of maintenance.

Shit I didn't realise it lol, thanks, I was about the build a third ๐Ÿ˜†

artisan goods/preserve jars

I've started doing that. All eggs become mayonnaise, and for fruits and veggies I have two preserve jars (though they take a long time). I'm hoarding stuff in chests for now. And pull them out and create the jellies and pickles when the slots are free.

greenhouse

Working towards that, the pantry section is a bit tough because of the premium fruits and veggies and I don't have a lot of sprinklers or even iridium sprinklers to water them and watering them manually is a pain.

paved floors and paths/horse

Thanks, a lot of people recommended this, I'll do it, it makes sense.

green rain

Haha yeah, I've stockpiled a ton on moss. I also recently discovered mushroom log, so making a bunch of those as well.

save the seeds

Started doing that. I want to place the trees close to the mushroom cave entrance so I don't have to make long trips just to collect all the mushrooms.

Thanks a lot! Those were quite helpful tips!
