Any suggestions for me? I started with the default farm.

I want to see some order and structure here really. Right now I'm focusing on community center, but god do I hate how unorganized this farm looks.

The sections have been labelled pretty aptly. I've made some good progress on the community center, but I guess it's at the expense of my own farm.

I really just want a good looking and all-rounder kind of farm :sob:

Happy to answer any questions you ask. The image is kinda low-res because I wasn't able to upload a larger one. How do people recommend I divvy the map up for sections and such?

Thanks again!

IMO Stardew is best played when you just find what you personally like to do on any given day. For me, that is about optimizing my income production while also balancing crop diversity. Those are competing interests, and it works well for keeping things fresh each season. Based on your description, it sounds like making improvements to the town, by way of helping the community center, is what you personally like to do. Or, perhaps it is about marking off a todo list.

With that in mind, I suggest clearing out trees, rocks, debris to the south and just making 4-5 3x3 tilled plots. Then each season, plant what you can afford and spend the rest of the time fishing, mining, foraging or building relationships. There is no long-term time gated objective to worry about. So doing something simple on the farm will keep you progressing on what seems like your personal interests.

Now, if your real question is more like “I have been avoiding my farm and I want an optimized farm. How do I get there?” The things to keep in mind are 1. There is no perfect farm it is all subjective. 2. You probably don’t have the upgraded equipment to build it yet. 3. There are plenty of asthetic and well designed+optimized farms you can take inspiration or flat out copy online. 4. Optimized looks different as you progress. Late game farms are financially and tool impossible for early and mid game. You will have to engage with all non-farm parts of the game to unlock the ability to make an optimized farm.
