Playing Splatoon Raiders. Unlocked the option to respond people's call to help. Before any mission, you can request for help, so that random people online can join in and help you clear the level. That was available much earlier but the ability to respond to these call just unlocked at around level 15. So, I tried that, it searched for a bit and then sent me to help someone. The person I was helping was level 50, with other helper (or could be co-op buddy, no idea) at level 49, and me at level 15. I was confused who is going to help who :grinning: It wasn't bad though, it was one of the level I have already unlocked, but enemy health etc seemed to be higher, probably because we were 3 people compared to when I played solo, and with 2 high level players I cleared it much faster than how I did it alone.

The gameplay loop hasn't changed, but you keep unlocking more stuff, with the world and your abilities constantly expanding so it's keeping my interest.

Played more Red Dead Redemption 2. Reached Chapter 4, and nearing 50% of story completion. Each main mission that I do increases the story progression by 1%, which means there should be around 100 missions total, assuming the game actually goes to 100, and not ends somewhere around 80% or so. This is just "Story Progress" so it should go to 100% but who knows.

I am mainly going from mission to mission, while doing any side mission that pops up in my map. Not doing any side activities like hunting etc. Still don't care about the characters much, but general story isn't too bad.

Reached the mid point in Star Ocean: First Departure R too, and got a big difficulty spike. The enemies are very strong, even though I can kill most of them easily, there are still many encounters that can easily kill one or two members of the party. Looked up online and it is recommended to grind a bit at this point and level up. Not enjoying that part too much.

Another issue is that there aren't higher level weapons available yet, there's a way to upgrade your weapon but you need to learn skills for that, I grinded a bit and got one of my character to learn the skills, but it turns out everyone can only upgrade their own weapons, so everyone will have to learn all those skills. So more grinding. And this seems like a must-have thing cause current highest level weapon I was able to get (from loot, not available to buy yet) had my total damage around 500 (base attack + weapon damage), but upgrading my second best weapon using the skill, it takes my character to 800+ damage, so a big difference.

So, after grinding for a little while I am not feeling like playing this too much. I was enjoying the game and even the combat but just grinding is getting kinda boring.

No Monster Hunter Stories this week.

Oooh, good luck for the console!

Added your notes about Majogami to the game in my wishlist.
