I watch them too, at least the first few episodes, but the last one I watched I had to alt-F4 mid-episode.

Yeah that's the one. The first episodes were okay-ish, but I just couldn't continue after that scene.
Yeah, the trope was enough to kinda knock me out of it. I might watch another episode but I'm not really as excited about it as I was before.

I think this one is a brand new release, at least on Crunchyroll. Yours must be a different one. Hopefully you won't have to go through that much cringe!

That's a pretty crude way to put it, but I can't argue with the sentiment.

I think you got that backwards. The reason that the jerk from that episode hadn't had his way with her yet was that doing so would cause the slave crest to be damaged.
Rising of the shield master or whatever?
Not that one, but IMO Shield Hero went from mid to terrible over the seasons. I haven't even bothered with the latest ones.
