Yikes! Both of them are not practising good consent.
Yikes! You are not recognizing an obvious need to engage in disbelief for a joke.
I mean, if your critique is bad and misplaced, other people are allowed to point that out. You're still allowed to make bad and misplaced critiques.
The joke neither teaches nor harms. It is not a tool of teaching. That is not what it's accomplishing in this community, a community for memes, named as such. It is also not meaningfully harmful, and if you are harmed by it, it is entirely due to a staggering inability or unwillingness to engage in a very simple degree of media disbelief.
Your critique of this piece of media is bad and misplaced because you are displaying a truly extraordinary lack of media literacy.
You are making a lot of assertions and assumptions about our media literacy.
Just because we disagree doesn't mean we aren't media literate.
Please try to be less cruel, mean, and assume less next time. There was no need to take that tone with us.
I made no assumptions of your media literacy, and if you read my comment again carefully you'll see that. I did not say you lack media literacy, but that you displayed a failure to use it, which you did. Interferences can be made from actions, but I didn't say I made any.
We disagree because you have a bad opinion with dubious logic.
You opened your first comment with "yikes!". You set the tone, and I am respecting and maintaining your tone from there onward. If you do not like it, look into the mirror. That is not cruelty and such an accusation is sad to look at in this context.
"Your critique of this piece of media is bad and misplaced because you are displaying a truly extraordinary lack of media literacy."
Any reasonable being would interpret this as saying they have a lack of media literacy.
Stop being such a pedant.
For context, these two willingly entered the relationship with the express intention of convincing the other to bottom for them. They express clear boundaries and communicate surprisingly well, especially for a situation dreamt up by Mikami Teren. To see an actual lack of consent, see Arioto or parts of Watanare.
Thank you for the added context, we greatly appreciate it!
It is good to know that there is consent in the relationship. Apologies if we came off as harsh towards you, we are just very sensitive about seemingly bad consent.
Good to know this wasn't that.
