Ah, I admittedly didn't look very close at the watch or my wrist and assumed the glue fucked up. Looking again it does seem to be bulging a little
You probably already know this but don't wear that thing. Google will probably overnight you a new one and a fireproof box for that one. I'm sure they don't want stories of them exploding on people's wrists floating around.
The bulge is pretty apparent in the photo.
Plus atmospheric heat isn't enough to make the adhesive fail - who would choose such an adhesive? They'd have failures where it's normally hot, like the US Southwest.
Sun load can heat such things significantly, manufacturers use adhesives for such conditions.
