Repost from over a year ago?

Here is the front of my house TODAY.

I had a large American flag that I put up with staples but someone STOLE my flag.

So, I painted the flag on the front of the house so they can't steal it.

I was extremely angry at the thief and I wanted to send them a message that MY opinion is they were NOT Americans. So I painted the stars as swastikas. After that was up for a while I decided to change the blue field of the flag to the flag of Israel, where the true evil is today.

Is this normal in the USA, or are you the crazy neighbour? Haha

I would say it depends on where you live

Wow! Are there just parts of the US where everybody paints different political messages on their sheds and stuff?

There's crazy neighbors everywhere.

If you own the house you can do whatever you want.

If you're renting, the landlord (or HOA) won't let you.

My mom got a letter from the HOA saying someone saw the hood of her car up. I was checking her motor oil level.

I'm asking more about how common it is, and not how possible it is.

HOAs sound insane though.

It is getting less common to own a home.

Also I'm retired so I don't have a job/income to endanger. I don't have a wife or children in school so no local social pressures. I consider myself unique to be able to do stuff like this.

At Christmas last year I wanted to do a nativity scene with ICE agents holding Mary and Joseph at gunpoint while a third agent zip-tied the baby Jesus. "He's not from around here."

I was too busy with other things. THAT would have been fun. I'm all about having fun.
