Fireworks not starting until 10:30-11:00 pm, but metro staying open until 2 am. Stay seriously hydrated (not with alcohol).

Oh boy. dumbass is going to give a 45 minute speech at 10 pm.

For those of us who would normally be watching this on tv, the Capitol Fourth concert will be Friday, with fireworks piped in from…Mt Vernon. And on Saturday, PBS is airing a shindig from Williamsburg, including their fireworks. (And then we can switch over to Macy's re broadcast from NYC.)
