Oh the adpocalypse has been happening for a long, long time now. It isn't on the way, it's here bby!

I hate ads because it's so fucking fake, ubiquitous, and corporate. All to line the pockets of investors who are so far removed from the average person that it seeps into everything.

I think that Bunnings last week decided to use AI to help you shop. You may have run into that scourge.

I have wondered how much it would cost them if people started just chatting to their AI bot. Last week I engaged the Bunnings bot in a lengthy discussion on the merits of mulching the shelves in the lounge room (it wasn't a fan of the idea initially, but I think I won it over).
