Not in the Midwest? I suppose it depends how north you are, but I think of like Dakotas/Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan when I think of Midwest. Summers easily hit 90°F+ every year, for weeks at a time. They’re extremely used to it… then they get nice Canadian winters of 10°F to -40°F in winter. It’s a crazy place.
Also like every house in the states has air conditioning, so they’ll be fiiiiine unless they have to go outside.
I think this heatwave is supposed to hit upwards of 100F, to me that’s more Arizona than Midwest, but I will defer to people who live there.
Oooo that’s defo hot even for there—I have some friends there and it does hit 100° or more, but it is very uncommon.
