I generated 4 x my pay in profit in 6 weeks for the company which employs me. (About 1/3rd my yearly salary).

They didn't say much because they know how much I leverage that gives me.

So last night I got "food poisoning".

Was nice to sleep in lol

I don't generate income, but I fairly regularly have things on my desk worth double or triple my annual. It's nice to pet the pretty things.

Funny how we have to remind the places we work at about these sorts of details and they never bring it up for us themselves

If they did, they'd have to acknowledge that the effort/remuneration ratio is absolute bullshit.

But that's OK. What matters is that I know. And so will other orgs down the track.

I busted my arse end of year getting something in over the line. Talking 20 hour days by the end.

This is the way. No matter how "nicely" you are treated by your employer, they will remove you the moment you become an inconvenience.
