You are a shining example of those that do not understand or comprehend historical materialism. You think what is happening right now is unique time in history. This has happened time and again and those that continue to run under the party banner ended up being quashed by the party.

They end up getting "quashed" because people become apathetic. We all think that once we've achieved some kind of victory, that the fight is over and we can go back to sleep. And while we sleep, they take back what we fought for, and we have to fight for it all over again. The solution to that cycle, is to not fall asleep again.

But, you're here claiming that the fight itself isn't working. Why? It is working. The thing is, it never ends. We can't just stop fighting every time something doesn't go our way. That's how they win.

You truly know nothing about US politics and US political history, do you? This is a rehashing of reforms under FDR, where they offered bread crumbs so people don't demand better, so they don't demand real socialism. While they blur the lines between socialism with things like the Nordic model, which is still capitalism and its exploitation of the global south.

Now, that's what I call projection. If you think "real socialism" is going to be implemented at gunpoint, then you are the one who doesn't understand history.

The only way it will ever work, is if we choose it. Collectively. If your plan is to force people to accept it against their will, then you are dooming us to just keep repeating the same cycle you claim is my misunderstanding.
