From what I understand, artists used whatever was scariest at the time. When the culture changed so did the imagery.

lol. So your telling me back in the day people were scared of goats and goat people? Not looking for a fight but I guess we live in a different time where it is funny to us, considering how goats are. I guess it would be like the equivalent of a Pit Bull or something back then.
