Russia started the conflict in the Donbas when the DPR and LPR 'countries' were founded, after Russian backed paramilitaries took control of the region.. they also seized Crimea, and this is regarded as the start of the Russo-Ukraine war in 2014, not 2022, 2022 was only the start of the full scale invasion. Shelling is part of a conflict, and has been going on since 2014. The start of the war. Russian paramilitaries literally shot down a completely innocent passenger airliner. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Airlines_Flight_17

"This is literally what the Ukranians nazis are thinking right now." Im sure the Russian Nazis are thinking they are superior too.

Maybe I do hold pro-western views, it makes sense as I was born and grew up in the European Union, and I have thought of my time on this planet as pretty good so far. Most former Warsaw Pact countries now in the EU (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia) all had a cultural renaissance after the fall of the Russian dominated USSR, in the EU culture was allowed to be practiced freely.

It is concerning that Zelenskyy said he wants Ukraine to be a 'Big Israel', but since it says in the article Israel is an important part of the Russo-Ukranian war, he probably wanted to gain more sympathy from Israel. This statement is still pretty undefendable. Bravo, you win on this one.

Name them? Multiple wars in Georgia 1991-2008, Syrian Civil War 2015-2024, Russo-Ukrainian war 2014-Present, Both Chechen Wars 1994-2009, War of Dagestan 1999, Tajik Civil War 1992-1997, Transnistrian War 1992, Central African Republic Civil War 2018-Present, Mali War 2021-Present. All of these after 1991.

This debate is about the Russian Federation, not entities before them, so I won't speak about what they did before 1991.

Russia has made many attempts at kidnapping and killing Ukrainian politicians since the start of the war, but haven't been as successful.

I would also like to make it clear that majority of NATO does not support the Iran War, and as such has not joined the United States. The USA is a bad spokesperson for the rest of the alliance.

All this and not to mention the literal drone strikes on NATO countries since the start of the war. So yes, Russia is the aggressor.
