Kovarex, the maker of Factorio, is a reactionary anti-leftist. He exposed himself on reddit and has since edited or deleted his comments. True, but after the incident happened it seemed as though some people did everything in their power to make it look like a mentality to him (i.e. combing through his past posts to see if he himself said anything yikes to prove to everyone how shitty he is). The "shove it up your ass" comment is enough to point to, so pointing to the (now deleted, might I add) statutory rape comment feels more like having a hate boner for the guy and that your goal is to moreso make you hate him as much as you rather than just the plain 'don't buy the game from this guy, he's a reactionary'.

He's literally comparing militant fascism with the culture that seeks to deplatform the kind of people that support fascism. Hope that clears it up for you.
In the quote I showed he's equating the censorship/authoritarianism of nazi germany to that of the USSR. Of the comments he has made, I actually find that apt. Your interpretation only makes sense if you're equating the USSR with leftism generally which says as much about you as it does him.
I understand boycotting the game because of uncouth comments of its creator, especially when it comes to women's rights / sexual assault / etc., but please be honest that's the reason if it truly is why. I am at least not convinced he's a fascist based purely on what I've seen him say.
Why is it that whenever I see someone announce they've blocked someone else for disagreeing with them, it's always @lemmy.blahaj.zone?
It's a game that not nearly as fun as any of the other factory games. Factorio, shapez, foundry, astro colony > satisfactory
On the flip side, Satisfactory has been the only logistics game I've enjoyed. It just clicked for me better than the others.
