Curious about non-tankie leftism? If you've got a little patience for 19th century academic style, let a little Marx and Kropotkin be your primer!

Marx's Communist Manifesto, short and accessible! Highly recommended if you haven't read it

Kropotkin's Conquest Of Bread

Selected works of Marx

The real horseshoe theory:

MAGAts and Tankies got hit on the head by a horseshoe.

I think it's more stethoscope theory than horseshoe theory.

The real horseshoe theory:

MAGAts and libs: vote harder for me otherwise the other will win, even tho both parties interest just lies with israel

Technically correct, although I wonder whether it would be easier to challenge the system under the "nothing will fundamentally change" party or the "We are actively and gleefully changing things for the worse" party...

Best is to organize the working class behind a 3rd party.

[–] MousePotatoDoesStuff@piefed.social 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That would be best, yes. Is there a 3rd party in the US that already exists that could be organized behind?

@MousePotatoDoesStuff I dont know as I am not american but the greens are way better as a starting point than the dems.

Same. And yeah, from what little I've heard of them, they do seem better. Unfortunately, it will take some time and promotional support until they can win elections. And in the meantime, it's sadly red vs blue.
